GenBucks - a trusty and loyal affiliate program

GenBucks is an affiliate program, which ha a very good reputation among the affiliate marketing proffessionals. It offers commission rates as high as high as 50% for their Diva Pills , Maxodent and Goatweed products, 40% for their Sex Toys, Herbal Meds and Max Willy, 30 % for Soft-V and 20% for their MP3 players and Bed&Bath products. They pay by Epassporte. Epassporte themselves charge $40 for opening an account with them, but once you reach $100 in your GenBucks account, you will be granted an Epassporte account for free.
GenBucks also offer free website templates to use and create your own website, through which to sell their products. You can use their subdomains for free (names like http://mayvena.4yz.com/). If you need they will also give you free hosting account with PHP and MySQL database. GenBucks also have a wonderful forum-based community of affiliates, helping each other with useful information tips and advices on promoting GenBucks's products.
They offer some free useful tools as well - tools like site statistics, directory submission tool etc.

Казвам се Христо Колев. Софтуерен специалист от София съм и в момента работя за средноголяма софтуерна компания като ръководител на екип в отдела за клиентска поддръжка. Аз съм човек с много интереси и много хобита, всяко от които изисква пари, и разбира се приходите ми не стигат за да покрия всички разходи, които бих искал да направя за хобитата си. По тази причина постоянно търся нови източници на приходи. От известно време се опитвам да спечеля пари онлайн. Начините, които съм опитвал са най-общо казано три:

Фрийленсинг - това всъщност може да се нарече начин за намиране на клиенти за услиги, които вие самите можете да предложите. Аз самият съм опитен PHP/MySQL разработчик и квалифициран преводач между английски и български език, така че обикновено се оглеждам за такава работа. За нещастие българският не е достатъчно популярен език, така че ми се налага да се ограничава изключително до работа като разработчик.
Афилиейт маркетинг - накратко това е продаване на стоките на определена компания срещу съответна комисионна. Комисионните могат да варират от 20 до 60 процента.
Pay-to-surf, pay-to-click, pay-to-read-emails и т.н. - За разлика от предходните, които могат да се нарекат "онлайн бизнес", това е по-скоро нещо като "онлайн бачкане". Този начин за работа онлайн е най-уязвим по отношение на измами. Това което имам предвид е, че има твърде много PTC т т.н. програми, които всъщност не плащат за свършеното от вас. Някои пък само събират информация за потребителите си, след което изчезват, запазвайки си списъци с милиони e-mail адреси, които в последствие продават на спамъри... Все пак има някои, които наистина плащат и в по-късните постове ще ви разкажа за собствения си опит с тях.

Има още един вид сайтове за онлайн печалби, които всъщност продават инбформация за това, как да се печели онлайн. Обикновено не им обръщам внимание, но веднъж попаднах на един такъв сайт, който ми изглеждаше доста добре, така че реших да го проверя. Все пак не исках да плащам, тъй като съм от хората, които предпочитат да пробват преди да плащат за каквото и да е, така че успях да се вмъкна вътре. Практически там нямаше нищо ново за мен - всичко, което беше описано бяха неща, които вече знаех. Все пак информацията там беше структурирана доста удобно, така че си платих за нормален оторизиран достъп - все пак информацията ми беше доста полезна с това, че беше удобно структурирана. Оттогава използвам въпросния сайт като наръчник. Това, което се опитвам да кажа е, че ако материята ви е добре позната този тип сайтове вероятно няма да може да ви предложи нищо ново, но ако сте новак в онлайн бизнеса такива сайтове могат да са доста полезни.

Affiliate Programs - Also called Associate Programs, Partner Programs - Most of the online traders offer the opportunity to put their banner on your website and if any visitor clicks on the banner and purchases anything, you would receive a percentage of the item's cost. There are others, who pay you for every unique click that you send them. Some of the programs offer an adittional commissions for refferring other webmasters.
Some affiliate programs have gone to a whole new level and offer premade website templates, with which you can have your own fully functional e-commerce website for free.

General freelancing

Freelancing is a way earn online, by offering a type of service. Usually it is preferred by web developers, but many more types of work can be done this way - data processing, writing articles, graphical design...
There are two ways you can be a freelancer - the more difficult is to do everything yourself - finding clients, worry about how and if they will pay etc. It will require you to have a website or a blog, to promote it, to place ads on other websites and so on... It would also be a good idea to promote your site offline - like a sticker on your bumper, or a newspaper ad.
There's however a much easier way to find projects - freelancer sites. Probably the most popular is GetAFreelancer. It has jobs in areas such as PHP, Copywriting, Telemarketing, Accounting, Data processing, Logo design, Excel, Market research, C/C++ and many more. It works simple - a customer describes what he needs, you bid, he chooses the freelancer and pays the agreed amount to the website. Later when work is finished he authorises the website to proceed and give the money to the freelancer. They only charge a small fee for this, so it saves you as a freelancer a lot of trouble.

My name is Hristo Kolev. I'm a software specialist from Bulgaria, currently working for a rather large software company as a team leader in its Client support departament. Being a person of many interests I have lots of hobbies, each of which requiring money, and naturally my salary is quite inadequate for my expenses. That's why I'm constantly searching for other sources of income. For a while I've been trying to make some money online. I have tried generally three ways of making money on the net:

Freelancing - this is actually a way to find clients for services that you can offer. I myself am quite capable PHP/MySQL developer and experienced Bulgarian/English translator, so I'm usually looking for such jobs. Unfortunately Bulgarian isn't a popular language, so the jobs that I find are developer's
Affiliate marketing - generally this means selling some company's products and getting a commission. Ranges can vary from 20 to 60 percent.
Pay-to-surf, pay-to-click, pay-to-read-emails and so on - Unlike the previous ways, who can be called "online business" this is more like an "online job". This is the type of money making, which is most vulnerable to scams. I mean there are many PTC etc. programmes, which don't actually pay, or some which just gather info about the people and then shut down, keeping lists of milions of email addresses, later sold to spammers... Anyway, there are some that actually work and in later posts I'll tell you about the ones that I've tried myself.

There's another type of moneymaking sites, which are actually selling information about how to make money online. I usually don't pay attention to them, but once I found one, which looked pretty well done, so I decided to give it a try. However I didn't want to pay for it, because I'm the type of person, who likes to try before buying, so I hacked into it. I actually didn't find anything new inside it - everything that was written there I already knew. However it was structured pretty well, so I paid the fee for it - it contained information that I have gathered myself for quite a long time, but it was quite well sructured and convenient. I've used it as a handbook ever since. What I'm trying to say is that if you have vast knowledge in the area such sites probably have nothing to offer you, but if you're new to earning online, such sites can be really useful.
